Network Building

Due to the vastness of the African continent, the high number of African sisters, poor infrastructure, and the high cost of technology,
the networking and collaboration between African sisters is still very limited and it’s still largely regional and restricted to leaders of women religious, due to the barriers listed above but also because of language barriers. We are embarking on an ambitious but feasible project of bringing all these diverse voices together, to listen to one another and together collectively embrace our
identity as women religious and revitalize our way of life. By expanding the conversation to include 175 sisters we shall have a network of sisters that can easily be reached for future initiatives. By networking during our conversations, sisters will organically identify potential collaborators and mentors going forward. Data gathered could inform some necessary and important changes in the life and ministries of women religious across the continent and in the diaspora.
