Religious sisters could use the information in the manual to advocate internally in religious institutions in areas such as formation, leadership discernment, ministerial initiatives and emphasis, congregational renewal amongst others. We plan on engaging the various conferences of women religious leaders on the continent throughout the process, sharing with them our findings and presenting our final publication to them. We shall highlight the expertise present amongst the ranks of women religious by documenting exceptional pastoral programs, theological expertise and best practices that we hear about that can be leveraged across congregations to improve our collective impact in doing God’s mission.
